M-r  Lazar Sokolov was born in 1987 in Kavadarci, where he finished elementary music education as "The best student" in  generation of 2002". Secondary music school continues in Music and Ballet School "Ilija Nikolovski Louis”-Skopje, with prof. M-r Peter Kolevski. He graduated from the “Faculty of Music  Art”in Skopje with Prof.. M-r Stojan Dimov, and finishes master studes in 2012 with the same professor. Regularly attends workshops and master classes with famous teachers and performers across Europe:
Nicolas Balderu Sylvie Hugh-Paris, Karel Dohnal-Prague,Igor Frantishak –Ostrava,Petko Radev -Sofia, Horhe Montija-Venezuela ,Slavko Kovacic- Slovenia and marked a major success in national and international competitions.
Lazar now works as a professor of clarinet in OOMBU "Lazo Micev-Rale''Kavadarci, where he gained prizes for high pedagogical achievments. Had being member of the jury of national competitions in Macedonia, from 2014. a member of the jury of the international art festival "Dojrana" Dojran. From 2010  colaborates in a duo with pianist Anna Arangelova and actively participate in the concert life of Macedonia and abroad.
His chamber and orchestral experience is marked by performances as a soloist with symphony orchestras, chamber ensemble "Polyphony" from Berlin, city orchestras in Skopje and Kavadarci Orchestra, the MMM (Musical Youth of Makedonia), at renowned festivals "Ohrid Summer", "Skopje Summer "" Days of Macedonian music "," Kavadarci cultural autumn "," Kavadarci-city of Culture "," Together "Makarska-R. Croatia, "Bitola Summer" ,appearance with "Bread and salt" at "Zajecharska Gitarijada" Zajecar-R. Serbia. Since 2015 is a member of the piano trio "Ad libitum" (flute - Silvana C. Atanasova, clarinet - Lazar Sokolov and piano - Emilija Kabranova Filipova) and held numerous concert through Macedonia,Srbia, Croatia and Bulgaria.
